Amongst all of Bristol baby photographers, I am well known for my neutral, timeless style. No over the top backdrops, no overload of props. I want baby to be centre stage of his baby photos. A beautiful newborn photo should remind you of all of the wonderful details about your baby. It’s all about the freshness of this new bundle you’ve just brought into the world, not about the props.

Sometimes, it will be about that tuft of hair, or the baby fuzz on the shoulder. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good prop. But to me accessories have to show off your baby, not the other way around.

A beautiful fine knit wrap will show how little your baby is compared to the tiny stitches of the blanket. A dainty angora hat will highlight the softness of your newborn’s skin.

Most of my accessories will be neutral or pastel. Whilst I do love bright colours, they often don’t compliment newborn skin tones. Neutral accessories will always show off your little one’s complexion.
