Bath Newborn Photography – Beatrice

Bath Newborn Photography – Beatrice

I had forgotten to blog little Bea’s session! Beatrice was born in the middle of the June heatwave. Most Bath newborn photographers would turn the heating on for a newborn session. I usually do, as babies sometimes find it hard to regulate their body temperature. But there was no need to keep the room warm. It was in fact already too hot and there was no way to turn the temperature down! I resorted to frozen bottles of water in front of a fan to keep us all cool (Thank you Pinterest!)

Bea was an absolute gem. We did a few set up with her awake, as she was so peaceful and relaxed, then some sleepy portraits. We used a ton of lovely accessories that matched mum and dad’s tastes and their interiors. Keeping this in mind is great if you are planning to display your images on your walls afterwards. I will share with you in another post the beautiful frame mum ordered at her viewing session. So pretty!

It’s never too early to book your Bath newborn photography session. Most mums to be contact me at the beginning of the second trimester to ensure their place is reserved in order to capture those cute, sleepy newborn poses during the first couple of weeks of them being born.

Marina Feldman is Bath newborn baby photographer based and covers Bath, Somerset and covers Bath, Bristol and the South West of England.
