It was a little over a year ago that I first had a chat with the lovely Nuray at Tilian Kids UK. She was about to open her new baby clothes shop on Walcot Street in Bath and needed a photographer to set up her online shop.

Nuray and I clicked straightaway as she enthusiastically talked about her hand-made, ethical products. I could instantly see how the beautiful sustainable clothing and high quality toys and gifts for babies and young children would no doubt appeal to my clients.

Nuray explained that the inspiration for Tilian Kids wass taken from her love of nature and how the clothes she sources are all free from harmful chemicals and made from 100% organic cotton. The toys are from sustainable wood and so utterly gorgeous my two girls, despite being too old for wooden toys, spent ages playing them as I photographed them.

Tilian Kids have a gorgeous selection of hand-knitted clothes including jumpers, rompers, cardigans, booties and shoes and a beautiful selection of dresses, outfits, handmade wooden toys and crotched teddies and rattles.

I loved photographing these beautiful toys and products. The muslins are especially beautiful and practical and I wished Nuray and Tilian Kids were around when my two were babies. If I had to choose a favourite product however, I think it would have to be the beautiful crochet bunnies. Beautiful, classy, with arms and legs thin enough to be held by little hands and hugely hugable. My girlies might have adopted a few of them…
