I had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Helen and Richard a few weeks back at the Woodland Country House in Brent Knoll. When we first met for their planning session, they both mentioned not liking having their photos taken and how they wanted a more relaxed approach to their wedding and how they wanted the photographs to reflect that. Richard also mentioned his passion for his vintage Opel Cadette and how he’d like some shots with it. It all sounded very exciting and I must say it didn’t disappoint. The atmostphere was relaxed and joyful and “fun” seems to be the theme of the day.

The Woodlands Country House is a fantastic venue for smaller weddings and they offer outdoor ceremonies, which was absolutely lovely. Helen had put a lot of thought and consideration into her day and I had great fun capturing all of the little details – some very original ideas, such as the cookie and milkshake bar, were appreciated by all of the guests.
