Shortly before Christmas, this beautiful little girl came to see me for her newborn photos. As you probably know, whilst I am a baby photographer I also photograph weddings. I was very very excited for this baby photography session, as I first met her mummy and daddy when I photographed them for their engagement portrait, then again on their Valentines’ Day Wedding the previous year (Have a peek here) and I had captured their pregnancy a few weeks before Sophia was born. This little baby girl was just perfect in every way and she slept throughout her baby photoshoot. I could – litterally! – have photographed her all day. I wanted to try some new things and designed a couple of set ups just for Sophia – A winter theme to start with as she was a winter baby and and princess theme. We incorporated her mummy’s wedding veil in the photograph as she had the idea to use it for the maternity photos and I thought it was such a nice personal touch! It also made for a beautiful canopy for Sophia sleeping on the princess bed.
I can’t wait to see Sophia again soon. I will be photographing her at 6 months and for her first birthday, creating memories of her first year for this family to treasure!
